This qualification meets the requirements for the Early Years Foundation Stage for practitioners with level 2 and 3 qualifications. The qualification is also suitable for parents, carers, grandparents and others who supervise and care for children

DESCRIPTION

Over 6 hours, learners will develop the skills to provide emergency first aid to babies and children until qualified help can arrive. Each topic will be covered for both infants (birth to 1) and children (1 to puberty).

TEACHING & LEARNING

Learners will be taught through a combination of tutor demonstration and scenario practice. The tutor will provide constant support, guidance and feedback throughout the course.

ASSESSMENT
